ryzen 2700 Ryzen 2700X install Window Issues, Mouse keyboard NOT WORK

Hei guys

 

I just built my new PC setup.

CPU:AMD 2700X

Motherboard: GIGABYTE X470

RAM:16 GB DDR4

Video card: GTX 1050Ti

 

At first time, I spent hours tired to install WIN7. However, mouse and keyboard stop working when show win installation screen.

I read all article and youtube video, tired different USB 3.0 driver installer and different win7 ISO. all didnt work

 

So I give up.. move on to install win10..

 

WTF.....the mouse and keyboard still stop working....

 

What's going on....

Might be a USB port problem. Try a PS/2 keyboard if you have one.

The motherboard doesnt have PS/2 port.

But if USB port problem. how could it boot win installation from USB driver

 

The motherboard is brand new btw

Installing Windows 7 on Ryzen requires doing the install on a separate system, doing an unattended install or doing the install with PS2 peripherals, as the USB drivers do not exist within Windows 7 and need to be installed. Anandtech has a very good article on this.

As for the issue persisting in Windows 10, that is something I'm not sure about.
