Chassis fan not listening to mobo

So for some reason, for a specific chassis-fan port thing on my motherboard, every fan I plug into it goes at full speed even though I set it to silent in the bios. The fan doesn't seem to register which is weird considering it was yesterday... Could it be a bios problem/motherboard problem?

I'm using an ASRock Pro 4 B350

Edit: The fan does register, my bad. I still can't get it to go at the right speed.

Which fan header and what fan?

Cha_Fan 1 and happens with any fan I've tried (case fans of Phanteks P400 and Arctic F14's).

Edit: The fan speeds show up to 19640 in the bios at times for just a second then back down to regular..

So 3pin fans? Have you set the header to DC mode in the motherboard settings?

It should be in the H/W Monitor tab.

I don't see an option for PWM/DC for any of the chassis' fans.

Can you post a photo of what options you see?

Nevermind, it doesn't matter for now cause I need a 4 pin header to control speeds on the motherboard. Found this on the ASRock support forums.

You can try Speedfan. At least some newer AsRock mobos have support for it.
