Using liquid metal

I bought an MSI GS65 it has yet to arrive but I want to change the thermal paste for liquid metal and i was wondering is that would void my warranty? Also I heard that the GS65 is hard to get into is that true?

Do you even think that changing the thermal paste for liquid metal is a good idea?

Liquid metal can be dangerous so make sure you know what you're doing, considering liquid metal can dissolve solder joints on board components/capacitors if spilled.

Since laptop CPUs have an exposed die it could help a lot, yes, assuming the cooler has a copper base (or nickel plated copper base, not aluminium!). Can't judge on how easy they are to get into as I only service HP laptops.
