Well you could always try Bluetooth, though speeds are pretty slow depending on what you need to transfer and from where. You also have to have both devices in front of you basically.

I know Windows 10 1803 just added a button in the notification shade for transferring files via bluetooth but I think it is limited to Windows 10 devices. Kinda like a knee capped AirDrop.

Theoretically it should be possible to view your drives on the Network if you configure your PC to be visible on the network. Though I have never personally tried it.

What hardware do I need to let a Windows 10 desktop transfer/stream files to an Android device?

Can I get them connected just by having both of them on the same router? Right now I have the PC wired to the router, and the Android device connected to the wifi.

I prefer Airmore.

Android can actually mount a samba share but it's a pain. If you want sync, Syncthing works ok. (myself I use Nextcloud but that involves having a Nextcloud server.)
