Smartphone Powered Laptop

Hey guys,

 

Remember Razer's Project Linda? I've just made something similar with an old Macbook Pro.

 

I also made an instructable on how to make it here.

 

What do you guys think? Do you see yourself/others making something like this? I'm open to all your comments/questions/suggestions.

Nice.

Until my smartphone runs a full desktop OS, not gonna use something like this.

You sorta can with TeamViewer but yeah I know what you mean. With that said as more and more programs become web-based maybe it'll be more functional in the future. At least that's the idea.

I use my laptop for work, and there are very specific programs which cannot run on anything except windows, and also require 0 delay so remote desktop isn't an option.

I'm sure it will work fine for other people though.
