While using dxtory with the lagarith loseless codec and recording some minecraft at 720P 30 fps. The program eats up about 1 gb a minute is this suppose to be normal? Because if this is so then, rendering and uploading to youtube will be quite a hassle with the amount of time it will take.

-.-, my windows media player is giving me problems. It's not displaying my videos that I've rendered. It only somehow plays only the audio.

1gb a minute is normal for Dxtory. You can try to render them out in an editing program to try to compress them a bit though, just so you dont have +20gb files uploading to YouTube or whatnot.

What kind of compression program do you recommend or should I just like zip it? btw I'm having problems with my windows media player. It's not playing my avi videos for some reason. Like the audio part of the video would play but not the video. It's just all black could you help me on this?

Try using Sony Vegas, it is full of alot of really cool items and gives you alot of flexibility when it comes to video editing. You should be able to acquire it Barbary(Pirate) style.

My recordings get end up being around 150GB for an hour or so, but for quality content you want to edit anyway. So after editing and what not, rendering out in either Vegas or Premiere brings it down to around 3-5GB. Both Vegas and Premiere have YouTube specific render presets

I am good at computer

For YouTube presets, yes. It can be compressed that much because YouTube video always looks bad so there's not really a difference between less compressed footage

reduce the quality. dont use 100%..97% takes less. its exponential. try 90%.

I used 100% and reendered it in sony vegas ..then TADA 1MB/sec

CPU: Ryzen 5500 GPU: RX 6800 RAM: DDR4 3200MHZ 48GB (2x8+2x16 GB)  MOBO: MSI B450-A PRO Display: 4k120hz with freesync premium.

What do you mean by that?

If the rcording lasts 1hour it would take 60x60x1= 360MB

but I exagerated it.. but its like still a big deal.
