i currently have a 1tb drive and 2 120gb ssd's in my pc. with an external 2tb hdd.
im going to use my old mobo, cpu and gpu to build my dad a pc. i was going to take 1 of the ssd's out for the new pc and then get 2 2tb hdd's for me for raid. what hdd's are good to get but are cheap?

was thinking just WD blue but i dont know if there is anything better out there.

thanks

You can use the WD Blue, but there's a better offering with the BarraCuda.

i kinda wanted to do raid for mass storage as it would be faster and fun :)

Having a single failure point is better than two. Size over quantity. If you're going for smaller disks, go RAID 5 (three disks) or 6 (four disks).

hmm thing is i wanted a fast drive as well for games like GTA which take ages to load but dont have enough room on my ssd's

is 1 bigger hardrive worth it over the extra speed then?

Single-player is terribly long to load, but you aren't going to fix multi-player.
