help me check Watts usage

come on man

hey,can someone tell me how can I check how much is my total Watts usage in my PC?It's so old pc and I don't know anything about it..and I'm planning to put another HDD,but I want to calculate if my PSU can handle it.It's 420W PSU and I want to add additional cooler btw,so I don't know how to check if my current PSU is enough.

If you know what PC it is, then you can just google the specs

Although I am not sure of your wattage, an HDD and a new CPU cooler shouldn't pose much of a problem if your computer works well right now.

bro this pc is older than 100 years and it has random parts.there is no way to google it

For a really old PC it will be fine but since the PC is old I'm assuming so is the PSU. You might want to get a new one if it's just a cheap PSU.

Make sure to quote or tag people, so they get notified.

What OS its running? You can install software like Speccy to see what CPU and GPU it has. Those are the most powerhungry pieces you can have.

Cooler aka fan uses maybe 3-6W depending on fan. Peformance HDD like WD Black uses max 11W. Pretty sure you are fine with adding those. Now, changing either CPU or GPU would be whole different matter.

What 420W PSU? 
Maker + Model pls.

Because I don't remember a decent quality PSU in that Range in the last couple of years.

find the parts under system information and plug it into pcpartpicker website
