Hi there, this summer I plan to reach my goal for my pc and finally build or buy a pre-built. I live in the US and wil roughly have $1500 for a whole setup including peripherals. I do like HyperX so maybe those peripherals can be fit in there. I plan to play at 1080p on most titles. Some of the main ones I will play are PUBG, CS GO, Fortnite, Battlefield, and Rocket League. I will attach what I have so far on my list and hopefully some people can give advice to the processor, cooler, and graphics cars. Lastly, looking for a processor to handle both streaming and gaming. Leaning more towards intel. Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the response! Now Idk a lot about parts but I’ve been told asrock doesn’t have quality mother boards, could I switch it out?

Also, will the 8600k with its 6 cores and only 6 threads be able to handle gaming and streaming ?

Thank you very much! If I decide To go Ryzen then the 2600x would be a great fit! And I think with Intel, the 8700k would be a good choice. Thank you for the input and help!

I'd rather get the 1700 which has 8 cores for that matter. 2nd gen cpus are overpriced right now the R5 1600 and R7 1700 are still the best deal

The B3 is a bit of a fire hazard. And as usual with EVGA branded PSUs, it's quite loud.

n1 EVGA power supplies aren't really made by EVGA

and secondly you can't expect the same result from a product just because it has the same brand on the label, There are silent EVGa psus

Summer is still a month away, start planning the exact parts 1-2 weeks before your purchase.

As for the parts you've chosen:

You can get an RGB RAM kit at a decent speed for $50 less.

The WD Blue isn't particularly good, and is way overpriced. The MX500, MX300, SL308 or 860 Evo should cost about the same or less, and are better.

You should be able to get cheaper 1TB 7200RPM HDDs. Get one of those.

The B3 is a bit of a fire hazard, and is quite loud. There are plenty of decent units. 450W is plenty. The Whisper M and RMx are among the quietest ones.

You can get a Windows key from Reddit or Kinguin for $25

:)

That's why I said EVGA branded. Not EVGA made.

The only EVGA branded PSU that isn't loud is the T2. All of the rest is loud. And also, I said that it's as usual. That does leave room for exclusions.

:)

the 2600x has 2 less cores while the 2700x has a higher clock speed and slightly better cooler.

would you say the 2700 is better than the 2600x? If i go with an AMD build im able to put more money in the GPU and other places.
