Posted April 30, 2018 Best processor you can get on that platform assuming you have a NON Z board, is the i7 7700. It really comes down to price for you as you could be OK with a 7500, 7600, or the 7700 depending on the budget you want to spent. Assuming you internet connection isn't the cause of the lag... If you are trying to save some cash, i'd say i5-7400, i5-7500, i5-7600, or i5-7600k. Whichever is cheaper! I have a 4790K and a 1070 and play Arma3 at 5760x1200...and in single player my FPS is terrible but in multiplayer I go above 90FPS at times. The i3 7100 and 1050Ti are pretty balanced for most things but Arma3 is very CPU heavy. A quad core CPU like an i5 7600 would definitely help. Also, make sure that the game is set to use the x64 version in the launcher.
