For another $20, you get a much better gaming experience: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4q9XbX

BTW, are you trying to build a gaming PC or a productivity PC?

And are you willing to buy used parts off of ebay?

Alright so this system will be for gaming and light video editing, and I don’t have a very demanding game library but spintires will be one of my main games, along with PC Building Sim because it’s rather addictive. And I will have to look into seeing if I can somehow make more money to get a better components. I will keep what you all have recommended in mind, and I will see if any prices go down this summer because, well that’s when I will be doing those jobs to make the money for it.

Then buy a Dell Optiplex off of ebay with a quad core CPU and a motherboard with a PCIe slot. Then buy a graphics card with the money you have left. A used GTX 780 Ti or 970 are good options.

8GB Patriot Memory Viper 4 series 3000mhz

ASUS ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING AMD Ryzen AM4 DDR4... it goes on.

AMD Ryzen 5 2400G

only 6 more dollars than the intel system... I will see what prices are in the summer and possibly. change that Ryzen 5 to a Ryzen 7..

You have a point. I will see what kind of money I can get. I’m not desperate at the moment, since I have my trusty C2D machine with a GTS 250... yeah.. this machine that I will hopefully be making will definitely be an upgrade.. lol

I've done some thinking, and I think I'm going to go with the i3 build, but I will be adding on a GTX 1050Ti. Only reason why is because I found a good way of making money. Anyways.. here are the final specs:

Intel Core i3-8100 3.6GHz (according to amazon its a 6 core processor.. psht. also it has a max turbo of 4.7ghz? i doubt it.)

GIGABYTE GA-H110M-A LGA1151 Micro ATX DDR 4 Motherboard

Zotac GeForce GTX 1050Ti OC Edition 4gb GDDR5

Patriot Memory Viper 4 Series 3000mhz 8GB

Tell me if I should change anything (Processor from i3 to i5, etc).
