HELP WITH PC BUILD( again?)

Go to solution Solved by Ausfernando,

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/CRyy4q

This PC goes 8£ over your budget but it includes an SSD which is perfect for things like word and loading windows, trust me when I say it makes a huuuuuge difference

I now realise that last time I asked for help I was very unspecific and did not get a straight answer. So here goes again.

BUDGET

I am willing to spend £400 - £500

PURPOSE

This will probably be used for gaming and homework

ROUGH IDEA OF COMPONENTS

I know these are in no order and I am missing a few but if possible I would like a

  • Ryzen 3
  • GTX 1050

PERIPHARALS

I would probably get a cheap Mad Catz Rat for the mouse and a cheap (£25-) keyboard.

Sorry if I missed anything ( I don’t know much about computers) but thanks for reading.

Or you can go with a prebuilt.  @Ausfernando gave you a good build though, mini board in a tower case notwithstanding. Wouldn't use that PSU though.  There's quite a few warnings about the CX line in the PSU tiers list post, but I might be misreading those.

Another catch would be the build doesn't include the cost of the OS, and your mileage may vary on that, depending on what type of Windows license you get or if you even go with Windows at all.

The on PcPartPicker is the official 100 usd one and I doubt he will get one at that price if his budget is that’s low

Also I have that PSU and it has no problems at all, better than EVGA ones

It doesn't matter that much in budget builds....... masterwatts come under tier 2....which is good..... don't go on efficiency...look at the reliability...

I had a G2 in past.....but it makes more noise as compared to g3

It doesn't matter if you've had a PSU. Unless you've hooked it up to a load tester, and measured the voltage and ripple. Which I really doubt you have done.

When taking recommendations, people tend to prefer facts over opinions.
