Overclocking 1700x

ive seen plenty of people get it to 4.0 or even higher, but i can not seem to get it going any faster than 3.925 Ghz regardless of how many volts, it boots at 4.2, games well, does everything well for days and stays below 60c, but it always crashes once it gets to 100% usage, its that a bad overclock or can i tweak something to help it other than voltage

While I dont know much, I do know not all cpu are created equal. So that might be the limit for yours. 

Now there might be a combination of settings like lower base clock and higher cpu multiplier. But idk.

What motherboard are you using
