Fry's attempted to screw my friend.

Due diligence on their part would have included checking everything fully as it was a demo unit. Either through the service tag, which would have immediately tripped warnings, or upon resetting windows and running dxdiag.

Negligence doesnt mean willfully and knowingly attempting to "screw" a person over. At least take the care to be factually correct when bashing a company.

Selling a product that costs 2 grand when all is said and done when including warranty and tax means that neglect is screwing someone over. They would have made at minimum $150 profit on the sale itself, and then assuming the warranty was never collected on an additional $279.

Point is one bad apple in the basket doesn't mean the rest of the apples in basket are bad.

But, Frys is a US based company, they have zero store location in Canada.

You can't blame all your issues with Canada, no matter how much you want to.

Now now, this is the 21st century the following has been deemed illegal by society seemingly.

1. Common sense

2. Logical reasoning.

Well one bad apple spoils the appetite of the one eating, wont go back to that apple tree then. Its up to other "ones"  to see if its a problem with the tree or just one bad apple.
