Seems fine to me. I personally would recommend the Ryzen 5 2600.

Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.9 Ghz  | Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3 |  PaliT GTX 1050Ti  |  8gb Kingston HyperX Fury @ 2933 Mhz  |  Corsair CX550m  |  1 TB WD Blue HDD

Inside some old case I found lying around.

Welcome to the forum!

Peroabally I'd go with the 1600/2600 instead of the 8400. It handles streaming a lot better, has more threads, and is around the same price. If you really want to go Intel, just make sure the board supports locking the chip at it's turbo speed.

@Streetguru Odd suggestion considering he said light editing. The 1050ti will give significantly worse performance in games.

an R7 1700 will last a lot longer than a 1060 vs a 1050ti  in any event.

And yet, the 1600 gives the best of both worlds. If he's recording, he probably wants to have a decent experience. The 1050ti doesn't really give that.

Gaming at medium-high settings is still pretty good rather than overpaying for a 1060/580

6gb version of gtx 1060 is only slightly better than the 3 gb version.  not really good bang for buck.

120 gb ssd storage will run tight.  spend a bit more to get 250 gb.  especially since you're going to want to store plugins and such on it
