Couple things about delidding cpu.

I personally just run my delidded 8700k without anything holding the IHS on other than the socket bracket. Just use the delidding tool to center the IHS, then carefully place the CPU in the socket and secure with the bracket.

 

Relidding can take away a lot of the benefit of delidding. Why I run it raw dog.
