Artifacts/Flickering in Brothers In Arms Road To Hill 30

Greetings Members,

 

yesterday I decided to install one of my old favorites: Brothers In Arms - Road To Hill 30

 

Unfortunatly I have a lot of artifacts and flickering in the start menu and the game itself. Searching the internet quickly gave some solutions, but none of them really solved my problem. The game is the german version, patched to 1.11 (older versions did not work either). So here's what I've tried so far:

 

- Compatibilty Mode (all of them) + Run as admin

   -> no difference

 

- change the bia.ini (UseHardwareTL = False)

   -> fixed the graphics problem, but resulted in unplayable 2-3 fps

 

- all the related instructions from PC Gaming Wiki (https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Brothers_in_Arms:_Road_to_Hill_30)

   -> agaín, fixed the graphics problem, left me with 2-3 fps

 

 

I am running Windows 10 with all the latest drivers including GPU driver, PC specifications as listed in my signature.

 

I would be very thankfull for any help, I love this game and have not played it in years.
