Hey I got a gtx 680 hydro copper and this is going to be the first time building a water-cooled loop for a GPU, I know you shouldn't mix metals so I wanted a recommendation for a pump reservoir combo.

Some of the best regarded options would be the D5 or DDC pump unit especially if you plan on expanding the loop or upgrading in the future.

6...80?

Why are you wasting any money on that card trying to build a loop around it? Did you get it for free?

Just buy one of the Arctic Accelero Aftermarket GPU air coolers for like $50-70 dollars and you should be good to go.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

So would the 3 fan arctic cooler? or a Morpheus II

and then it doesn't require expensive water cooling parts for a rather old GPU...I just really fail to see the point of spending money to water cool an old GPU unless you're going for overclocking records on it.

No idea if the Arctic stuff will fit, says reference PCBs but i mean it's probably fine...

Any version will work, also what you do mean make it quit. As said it is fairly old hardware so I'm not sure if you want to invest a large amount of money in a loop for it.

I'm getting a 960 for 130$ so I don't have to buy stuff for the loop

Cool, I would highly recommend a 4gb 960 unless the price is too much higher. The 960 performs about the same as a 680

That's an F in the profile pic
