the 1300x is fine, if you really want to upgrade, wait for the gen 2 chips to get released on thursday

I'd get a 2600x when they launch later this week and update the bios on your current motherboard with the CPU you already have before selling it.

That'll bottleneck pretty hard. The 1300x is about equal to my 3570k at 4.2ghz and it bottleneck ed my 1080 enough to make it stutter in some games.

Depends on the game, resolution and desired refresh rate. Generally won't bottleneck (except by clockspeed/ipc, but even an r7 can't fully aleviate that)

A few things.

1) I ran 1440p ultra. That's about as extreme as you want to run on a 1070ti anyways since a 1070ti won't really do 4k very well

2) A Ryzen 3 1300x can drop below 60fps in intense scenariios

3) Games use more than 4 cores these days, so yes an R7 can alleviate that

4) Ryzen 2 is out in 2 days with about an 8% improvement to IPC and a clockspeed boost, so a Ryzen 5 2600x will have higher clockspeeds, better IPC, and enough cores to actually run games smoothly

what I meant by R7 thing before is that the IPC of R3 is (clock for clock) the same as R7

I agree with everything you listed.
