Kraken G10 with non reference 7950

nukem
Go to solution Solved by LIGISTX,

That should work, because the mounting holes I am pretty sure are a standard. The non reference problems I am pretty sure come up when RAM chips are moved, or things are not placed normally. But the G10 only uses the actual GPU mounting points (the 4 screw holes around the nvidia chip).

I have the OG version of this that some dude on overclock.net was making, they work great! As long as you look at the back of the PCB compared to a normal card and notice the mounting screws are spaced the same, it will work fine!

hey guys so i have a Sapphire Radeon 7950 oc edition currently in my system, and i want to set up a kraken g10 with a aio cooler, my only problem is im not sure if the G10 will mount on my non reference card, the nzxt compatibility list only mentions reference cards, how should i go about finding out if the G10 will mount properly?

thanks!

the problem with non-reference is the placement of the VRM components and

whether the bracket may/may not interfere with those components or even be

effective with the relationship of their location.
