After seeing this video. I think that these are all lies because,there can be a gtx 1080 for half the price in just 2 years from the realise of the gtx 1080.Also I recently picked up a gtx 1080 for only 600 dollars,should i have waited for the end of summer or is this all bullshit.

Yeah exactly.Because their 500x and 500 lineup will be dead if there is a 1080 with only 250 on the market.

Yeah, that's what happens with a new card generation... the old one becomes obsolete.

Still, it's a year away.  No telling if mining shortages will be better or worse by then.
