ROG is the Z87 chipset, i believe the OP has a ivy/sandy CPU (hence the Z77 chipset)

 

there is really a couple, ASUS, Gigabyte, ASRock, EVGA, MSI

best to buy on features needed, need to overclock, SATA ports, Wi-Fi, USB support, etc.
