Low cost 1050ti PC for brother - help

I will soon be upgrading my PC and replacing my 1050ti with a 1180 (when it's released). I would like to make a build with my 1050ti and give it to my brother who plays PUBG on a $300 laptop.

The only requirements I have for the system is that it will not bottleneck the 1050ti. I don't mind buying used parts or buying used prebuilt systems. I would like to build it as cheap as possible.

I already have a few parts that I can use towards the PC: A 128GB SSD, 1 TB HDD, 450W PSU, 1050ti (as mentioned above), and maybe 1x 4GB DDR3 1600.

So far I have been looking at a used Dell XPS 8500, which I may be able to get for  $150-200.

Part of the reason I'm doing this project is because I didn't want to go with the troubles of selling it. I would rather keep the 1050ti than sell it and buy something else dispite the savings/performance I would lose out on.

I dont think u can buy a 200 dollar pc that won't bottleneck a 1050 ti. Try going used. W a decent cpu

For that price, and old pre-built like the one you mentioned or an old Dell Optiplex with an i5-2400 or something similar will do just fine for basic gaming and browsing.

Midnight Rig - CPU: i7-7700K / Cooler: Corsair h100i V2 / Motherboard: AsRock Z270 Taichi / RAM: G.Skill TridentZ 3200Mhz / GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 FTW2 / SSD: Crucial MX300 525GB / HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200rpm / PSU: EVGA Supernova B2 750W

if you wanted to go under 200 you would need to go with an older Pentium to use your ddr3, however that may even bottleneck. Another more pricey option is to go with ryzen 3 1200 and get a cheep mobo with 4gb ram(maybe not enough)

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I found a Dell Optiplex 990 with a i5 2400 and 8GB DDR3 on eBay. It was on auction for $93 with shipping. The auction just ended a few minutes ago and I was able to snipe it for $94(with shipping). Considering the cost of similar used desktops on eBay and the competitive bidding on their auctions I was surprised to find this "gem" for so little and with only 1 other bidder. The only issue I have is the included case is going to be to small and im going to have to buy one in order to fit the 1050ti.

I wasn't originally looking for exactly s i5 2400 but any CPU that would outperform or match the Pentium g4560 which I compared on user benchmark.
