Huawei p20 vs lg v30

Thatbadperson

I am able to get either the Huawei p20 or lg v30, both heavily discounted to the same price.

Which one should I get if I don't care about the camera?

And is burn in an issue on the v30 that I would need to worry about?

I've owned the LG V10,V20, and V30 but I don't think the series is worth it anymore, the quality has degraded from the V10. Burn in is an issue on all the series.

I'd go with the P20 because of it's monstrously better camera.

It's hard to say which is better though without you telling us what's important to you in a phone.

I've used the g6 for a while and I really like it, the g6 is the smaller version of the v30 it is kinda like the v30 is the note series.

I second that.  The G4 had a bunch of issues, but the G6 has been rock-solid for the time I've had it.

I mainly care about performance and screen quality, I don't care whatsoever about software or camera or any other gimmicks. I also don't mind the notch on the p20.

I thaught the v30 would be good because of the poled display, what's the display like on the g6 and p20?

I'd go with the V30 then, for the following reasons:

  • microSD expansion
  • Better audio set up
  • IP68 certification
  • Better wireless capabilities
  • Better GPS
  • Better screen to body ratio
