HP P400i max capacity

Hi,

 

I've got a HP P400i Controller in my server. Here's the specification:

It's clearly written that it's capable up to 2TB per SATA drive. Does that mean that I can populate all 6 slots with 2TB SATA drives and all will be recognized correctly?

From the manual:

 

The SA-P400i supports up to 6 drives depending on the server implementation.

Support for up to 2 TB in a single logical drive.

 

So no, it appears, upon further reading, it is 2TB *total*, rather than each...

2TB per logical drive, which can be made up of many physical drives...tread carefully, the controller is old, the last page only shows small drives being supported.
