Do I need more RAM?

I have 8 gigs right now and I'm getting this message every now and then, kind of starting to get annoying.

Is 3 gigs available just not enough for windows or is it just bothering me about a few programs using a lot of RAM? 

 

It would be nice if Chrome could use less RAM, especially when there's nothing exciting going on in each tab, I don't think I can shake my browsing habits.

use firefox, it's much more slimmed down.

No, Chrome just steals RAM, and for anything using more than 2 tabs, go Firefox.

 

Lol, I moved from Firefox because it was eating a lot of RAM too and was causing crashes earlier for some reason. 

 

I absolutely love how chrome started out as the quick lightweight option.

Firefox can be broken sometimes, but this is my RAM usage while browsing FireFox currently...

You tried running memtest to make sure that your RAM isn't defective? It could be that past a certain amount of usage your RAM has a defective chip on it that your PC is trying to access.

I'd just throw more ram in there. Doesn't hurt and you can do more! :D

 

Is watching Tek 0088, notices you have it open o.o'

What's bothering me the most is that I have 3gb available but it's still like "hey ur out of ram bro"

That's probably something I should try, had not occurred to me.

 

 

 

Also have that Samsung RAPID thingy taking up 1gb, so it's more like 7gb.
