20gb of ram? 8 or 16 if you can afford it

 

apart from that yeah i guess you'll be fine in those games. you don't even need to get a Z mobo + K CPU. the 8400 with the soon to release B360 motherboards

You could use less RAM to 16GB.

buy ryzen, get 2x8gb ddr4 and not some weird combination to get 20gb, don't forget to get an ssd and seagate is good too for mass storage / games

 

what budget? need kb/m, monitior, windows 10, etc

and what country

Id say I3 8100 and a H310 mobo with that 1050TI, its going to be good enough in anything but very CPU intesive games

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

oh have we decided that MasterWatt series are fine? nice, they are still dirt cheap usiually :D

Good performance with somewhat questionable caps, but otherwise just fine. It does have 5 years of warranty, so CM should be reasonably confident in it. I disagree with @STRMfrmXMN's tier list that puts it on tier 2, but it should be fine as a tier 3 unit.

nvm i was thinking about the Masterwatt Lite series xD the Masterwatt units arent the cheap ones

Whenever something says 'Lite', 'essential', 'elite' or 'basic' it just spells trouble :D

the one review i have seen for the Lite units said they were actiually OK but i havent heard anything from a more reputable source about them. i used one in one of my builds to save cash, quality didnt seem too bad tbh

Let's say my friend's Antec Neo eco 2 450w didnt last all that long.. Just after a year it popped and killed the 860k CPU.

You want to buy some decent RAM, preferably 16GB DDR4. You can also buy a Core i5 8th generation if your budget is mil-spec. If you have more money to splash, you should buy a great graphics card to optimise your gaming experience rather than buying other useless things. A MSI Z370 is good enough. Try to look for a cheap but good PSU and good cooling. If you want to stream too, buy an Elgato and maybe you may have to get an i7 4-6th gen (if you have a tight budget)

The protections and performance put it in T2 for me. Those caps may be slightly questionable but aren't amazingly detrimental.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
