I would def try modding games you currently have. Such as Arma 3 or 2 if you have them. I'd recommend getting Garrys Mod because it is cheap and has tons of game modes on there to keep you entertained for hours if you dont care about graphics. 

 

Also Vermintide 2 is a great game for a great price. Not to mention the mod tools are coming out soon.

Free game in beta- ironsight. It’s a really good multiplayer FPS. It’s fun and not pay to win.

+1 on Dirt rally, got me into driving sims (not hardcore but it's addicting) in all honesty, and there's a plethora of those if you take a liking to it
