Laptop for Work - Mobile Workstation

Hey all, 

I’m looking for a new laptop for work. The one they gave me really isn’t cutting it and I want to go to our IT guy with a recommendation for what I should get. Basic requirements are a fast quad-core, some type of dedicated graphics, a good keyboard, and decent portability. Also, it needs to not be too “gamery” as it needs to be approved on a PO and not embarrass me in a meeting. The programs I use are mostly CPU dependent and can run at 100% CPU usage for long periods while optimizing so decent cooling would be a plus. The programs do benefit from dedicated graphics to display the simulations but it isn’t super taxing. Being said, I would like decent graphics because I’d love to be able to game on it on the weekends or on long work trips. My first instinct is a Razer Blade or a good ThinkPad but there may be other good options out there so just looking for some good recommendations.
