What is the model underneath the GPU slot. It may be an actual nvidea board as they did make boards and chipsets (not CPU, but northbridge/southbridge.)

and to make this board even weirder it has sata ports on it and IDE ports but only molex power which is annoying

Sounds like the old nVidia 680 sli i had. SATA and PATA with Molex for the PCI slots and a four pin for the CPU. Old school.

SATA was so new that many people didnt want to replace their PATA (IDE) drives yet, so the MOBOs supported both.

why is the 24 pin power connector on here only 20 pins?

Thats the old standard, and why most 24 pin PSUs have a detachable last 4 pins.
