Hi there!

I would like to get a new pc as I miss gaming. I was planning to spend up to 800 USD in the system. I would also need a monitor, 24 inches, 1080p. I don´t need any other peripherals.

I´m happy to get a pcpartpicker list and buy the items separately.

90% of the time I play Dota2.  10% I like trying some other games like PUBG, Fifa, etc. I don´t need these games to run in Full settings.

What I really value is a quiet system that does not overheat. I prefer minimalist cases, no windows/lights or anything like that and I would really prefer if it´s a small case.

I´m also more than happy with just 250 GB SSD. I don´t need to store anything on it. I usually only keep 1 or 2 games installed so I don´t need another HDD for storage.

It doesn´t need to go all the way to 800USD if it´s not necessary.

Hope you can help! Thanks a lot

Thanks!

Would it make a big change getting higher frequency RAM ?

Also, wouldn´t it be enough to get a 1050TI ? or will that get outdated soon ?

Thanks!

Faster memory is not going to make a noticeable improvement in this system. It is not worth spending more on memory.

A GTX 1050 Ti would be ok. Everything gets outdated soon :)

So, if I replaced the GPU for a 1050ti,  would you recommend getting a CPU cooler and some fans for the case?

Pretty much your only choice right now is a Ryzen APU build.

What's your MMR?

R5 for future GPU upgrades

This case is likely terrible.

Motherboard may need a BIOS update.

*Do not buy a horribly overpriced GTX 1050ti/1060 when you don't need it to run Dota 2 well, the APUs can handle 1080p 60fps at lower settings just fine

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?
