server HP pavilion p6107c PC to server

I have an HP Pavilion p6107c PC that I would like to use as a fast reliable server with network connection.

I plan to run Linux Mint.

I want at least 8 gigabytes of RAM.

I want greater than 150 gigabytes of solid state storage

I would like it to be around $100 but I will go up to $170

Id probably get a used optiplex 7010 or simmilar, lower power, much faster, more more ram and expansion you can add.

 

Why Mint, just run debian or ubuntu server, that gui isn't helping you here
