Hi all,

First of all, this is my first post and I really like the community (long time watcher), and I have a question concerning my first build.

With my case (this is the case) one can change the panels in any orientation so you could have the feet be on the right, left, top, or below the motherboard tray. I want to have it so that the feet are where the current top is, making it so that the parts are dangling from the top. To my understanding, a CPU is fine as long it has a heatsink over it and the ram is fine as well. My main concern is if the GPU will fall out of its slot. It seems that in typical arrangements, vertically, PCI-E slots are prone to sagging. I know that my current GPU is sagging a bit at the moment. Will the build being upside down be detrimental to the system in the long run at all? Or, will it just be fine?

Thank you so much!

No, the orientation of the system doesn't matter and the graphics card won't fall out.

If you can manage to get the gpu to stay it should not affect the gpu in the slightest, however it will put tremendous strain of the motherboard mount points as well as the gpu pcie latch. whether it will stay is beyond me though I have the case and it would be possible just might need some sort of support brackets for the gpu.

With that gpu you should be fine weight wise, I was just weary if you had a behemoth in the slot, like my gpu

I actually was hoping to snag an 11/20 series 60 or 70 on release, if money or time allows for it.

Well if its a dual fan it should not be an issue unless it was something like a kingpin card due to the extra copper, keep in mind I am being cautious and it may be fine even with an excessive tri fan like mine

I've actually been a fan of the tri-fan strix gpus They're mighty clean looking and they're also RGB, which I really wanna play around with in this build.

Since your card is not super heavy, the PCI-E locking mechanism will prevent it from falling out, in addition to the PCI-E GPU bracket being screwed into the case where the I/O ports are. You shouldnt have an issue
