1080p at 144hz gaming (GPU needed)

Which gpu should I pick, rx570 4gb/580 4gb or gtx1060 6gb/1070 8gb/1080 8gb? I am fine playing over 60-144 fps but I don't mind about the consistency at 144 fps, as long as I can play at least 60-144 fps  with no lag or problems I am perfectly fine with it. The games I want to play are some Triple A titles, CSGO, some MMORPG, osu!, many FPS, LoL, and etc.

We'd need to know a little more about the rest of your system. CPU/RAM, mostly.

 

That said, to crank AAA titles at 144Hz, you're going to want at LEAST a 6GB 1060, but a 1070 would be more ideal (and could likely push near-max 2k if you were to upgrade your display).

For future proofing your rig, a 1080 would be recommended. 

 

As games and graphics advance, the 1080 will push less and less frames over the years, eventually barley doing over 60FPS.

Ok either 1070 or 1080, but for now I am planning to buy 570 first, then upgrade with 1070

You're going to want a beefier PSU when you upgrade the GPU. 500W would cut it kinda close for a 1070/1080, especially if you're doing any overclocking. I personally like to have a LOT of headroom, but I also buy a PSU once and use it for several years. R5 + 1080 with OC headroom would probably call for ~700W to be safe. A good 650W PSU would probably suffice, but it's worth having the additional peace of mind.

which Monitor? RX 570/580 8gb can both feel much smoother than GTX 1060, if you pair it with a Freesync 144 Hz Monitor (since almost every modern 144 Hz Monitor has at least Freesync, if it's not a G_Sync model).

As a RX 480 owner I can say do not get a RX 480/RX 580 for 144Hertz gaming.

In CS:GO 1080p High it frequently dipped below 100 FPS, less then ideal.

However a GTX1060 6GB seems to offer stable 150+ FPS. (Tested on my bro's card, seems to be much higher performing then you'd expect. Sometimes beating my GTX980!)

If you can find them, the ASUS Dual GTX1060's are great for ESport titles. If you plan to play GTA V at that refresh rate though, go up to the 1070Ti or just bite the bullet on the 1080. Do not futureproof, every time I do that it ends up going to waste.
