hii,

i have a i7 8700k, a asus rog maximus 10 formula and 2 1080ti's and i would like to watercool them.

is there a specific order which is the best for temps or does it make no diffrence at all

ik would like to go with a pump and res combo and one 360 rad(and possible a 240)

thanks in advance

It makes no difference at all but I most people would suggest putting the res before the pump. As far as temps go the loop order doesn't matter

Yeah, the order does not make a significant difference.

Couple suggestions: Add the 240 along with the 360 because one 360 rad might be iffy with i7-8700k OC and 2x GTX1080ti.

Secondly, you would want to delid the 8700k if you have not already, because the TIM will be the bottleneck before your watercooling.

The res has to feed the pump the rest of the loop order makes no difference,But you want to keep the tubing runs as short and as straight as you can.Like said 360 and 240 would be best if you want to overclock anything later on.Plus a little extra cooling can help you can run your fan at a slower rpm which is nice to have.

because i was already looking in to it but not really found a quality tool.

Der8auer's Delid Die Mate 2 seems to be recommended, but I have not used it before.

The most important thing you can do for any custom loop is use the best coolant mixture possible. I am here today to tell you about the best one I have ever found... it literally dropped my temps 10C! It is called "Blinker Fluid" and you can find it in any local auto parts store. Normally they keep it in the back, so you will need to ask the attendant at the desk for it. It is pretty cheap at about $6/gallon and keeps your loop nice and clean.

Most use the diemate, some use the 3d printed ones you can find all over for cheap..... I personally still use a razor blade

Just depends which you feel safest with.
