I am getting a new monitor, advice wanted.

MadmanRB

Okay so here soon I am going to get money for a brand new monitor.
I will have a $500 budget and am looking into getting a good one.
While I very much like the one I have (A LG 24GM77-B 144Hz TN panel monitor) its time for a (slight) upgrade.
The main motivation is my father needs a new monitor and since I have been giving him my old hardware anyhow the monitor is next.
So since my father doesnt really have the funds for a new monitor its going to a good cause.
Plus it gives me a excuse to give myself a new piece of equipment i know I can afford.

I have picked out several models but am looking for second opinions.
All of these are on Amazon as I get free shipping via prime
I know there are other sellers like B&H photo but most pricing is around the same no matter where i go, even my closest Micro center (a good 30 miles away) doesnt have anything I am interested in.
So here are my options:

This Dell gaming monitor:

https://www.amazon.com/Dell-S2417DG-24-Inch-LED-Lit-Monitor/dp/B01IOO4SGK

This AOC:

https://www.amazon.com/AOC-AG241QG-2560x1440-Adjustable-DisplayPort/dp/B01N7QDNJ8

This Acer:

https://www.amazon.com/Acer-XG270HU-omidpx-FREESYNC-Widescreen/dp/B00VRCLHYS

This Viotec

https://www.amazon.com/VIOTEK-GN27D-Curved-Computer-Monitor/dp/B078P57ZWL

And another acer (this time a acer predator):

https://www.amazon.com/Acer-XB241YU-bmiprz-23-8-inch-2560x1440/dp/B01LJUNMYK
And this MSI:

https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Optix-27-Inch-Monitor-MAG27CQ/dp/B079NGSWRL

Basically I am going to aim for 1440P at a 144Hz refresh rate.
Bonuses like freesync and gsync is a darn steal at this price range
The TN panels dont bother me, IPS panels for most of these specs are way out of my range
4K is a long way off, I rather sacrifice resolution for refresh rate as my current monitor runs at 144Hz.
As long as it will fit nice with my GTX1060 with 6GB of vram it should be fine, it may tax my system a bit but I wont mind as the monitor will be a bit more future ready.
Its going to take a long time to see 4k at 144Hz without expensive hardware, another 5 or years and if i go with this monitor it will be good for that time :D
Even if I get a better GPU down the road this looks like a good path to take.

Just keep in mind please dont suggest to me monitors over my budget, when I say my budget is $500 I mean it as i still have to worry about getting a warranty and taxes.

I mean could i afford it? technically yes.
But I have to ensure that i can afford it, the numbers are right but only after i get everything else under check.
After all i still need food on my plate, my rent is fine as are my cell phone bill+netflix+hulu+britbox but my food bill is my biggest one usually.
Its not like i dont have the money, but a few dollars out of place does effect how I do things.
and $100+ more than my budget is perhaps more than i can handle even if i gave it another month.
Granted i can give this another two months then it is possible but I was trying to see what i can get now as opposed to two months down the line.
I mean waiting another month is doable and i am not impatient but my money is very close right now to being ready for a good monitor under $500.
If you say i should wait another month then consider it done, i was just trying to see if i can get something below my limit first.

Msi monitors have been notorious for having quality issues. I have this mpnitor and it is fantastic. I have contacted support and they were friendly and helpful. Check out Adrian gaming's youtube review. This is what tipped me over the edge to try it.
