Help with laptop gpu

My laptop's GPU (GTX 260M) had a problem and it waas causing my laptop to shut down immediately after the BIOS, so I decided to replace it. I found a Quadro FX 2800M on eBay but when I installed it, the laptop at the beginning refused to power on, but after a few tries it powers on but with a black screen, no BIOS, and the it turns off. Can someone tell me if the Quadro is compatible with my laptop or what might be the cause of the problem?
