G.SKILL is a reputable brand and the ratings seem alright. Should be fine, though compatibility would depend on your platform. For most platforms outside of AMD Ryzen, it should be ok.

I believe you mean for most platforms that still use DDR3 memory.

4 Gigs is a bit low, especially on 64 bit OS.

 

I use 4 GB already when idling on W10. RAM prices are through the roof at the moment, I bought mine for 120€ - only 8 Gigs. What I would recommend you is Corsair RAM. Always had them and never had any issues. Vengeance series got some heat spreaders on top. If you could grabe some of these you are good to go I'd reckon. Just be sure to get the right clock speed for your board.
