So was doing a budget build for my friend and we had all his parts ordered on cybermonday. Few days later he gets an email saying he was refunded for the MSI 7870 2gb GPU he bought for 149.99 on cybermonday so now i am stuck trying to find a card similar in power for 150-170 dollars but with no luck... everything is either out of stock or too expensive even the 7850s are.... So the next best thing i could find was an Asus 7790 2gb and and Asus gtx 650ti 2gb. Which should i get?

Why did you get refunded? If you ordered the card for 149.99 then they owe you a card for that much. I would call them and start bitching.

You can a HD 7870 GHZ for about 150$.

The MSI was the only i could find on newegg and tigerdirect (according to pcpartpicker)  mind linking me one? Dont care much about the brand it does need to be 2gb though

I got the same card  :D. It was in stock, and after a MIR it cost me $120. It was an excellent deal.

No it isn't lol, I've worked multiple retail jobs and if you put a price on something, even accidentally then you have to sell it to the customer for that. I've actually seen employees be fired when halo 4 came out for putting 49.99 stickers on cases instead of 59.99 at gamestop.

 

Edit* I should add that we had to sell the copies of halo 4 to the people who grabbed them before we could change it.

270 is just slightly more than what you wanted to spend, but Linus was able to oc a 270 higher than a 270x lol
