Diffused LED strips for case lighting?

Revamp

I was wondering if anyone knew of any small diffused lights that would work with the Asus Aura Sync?

I am using the NFC Skyreach 4 Mini case which is very small with large, open, see-throughable ventilation holes. I was wanting to cast a soft lighting in the case so you don't really see the individual LEDS.

Osmium: NFC Skyreach 4 // i7-8700k (delidd) // GTX 1080 // 32GB DDR4-3200Mhz // 1TB 960 Evo M.2 // 1.1TB MX300 m.2
Peripherals: Razer Blackwidow // Razer Orbweaver // Razer Kraken // Logitech G502 // Logitech K830 // LG 34UC88-B

Usage: Adobe Lightroom // Adobe Photoshop // Web Dev // Recording Gameplay // Video Editing // Portable Gaming

you could get your usual with aura sync working led strips.

try to get one or some, where the LEDs are nicely tight.

then get some clear acrylic plastic in the thickness, that you can hotglue it to the case with the leds in between.

before making the case led acrylic sandwich, get some sandpaper in different grits, and start working on the acrylic.

the goal is to get a nice matte finish.

that then matte acrylic over the leds will diffuse the light, make it more glowing instead of spot on beams.

P.S: acrylic or plexi glass

Case, LED, acrylic sandwich xD

Looks like I may have to go this route. Just was hoping to find some that was slim and had a diffuser attached so I didn't have to go buy acrylic and DIY (I'm lazy LOL).

Thanks for the post!

They make diffused channels just for LED’s such as this.
