Should i buy Ryzen 5 1600,AB350 gaming3 mobo,16 gb 2400 ram,1050ti?

Or Intel core i5 7500,B250 plus mobo,16 gb 2400 ram,1050ti?

I'm gonna use this build mainly for 3d modeling on Blender and Maya and light gaming.

Ryzen system.  The 7th series i5s are bad and blown 'out of the water' by ryzen.

The gaming 3 isnt a motherboard I'd rather use, but Ryzen is much better than Intel's quad core i5

Ryzen is the current fan fav for gaming, and it does sport a better bang for the buck, but it is also dependent on a good quality motherboard.

I'm with NelizMastr on this one, a C7 is the way to go really.

Compared to 7th gen Intel processors, Ryzen is a much better value. Especially if you're going to be using blender which can benefit significantly from extra cores. If you can afford 8th gen intel I would consider that too but a ryzen with fast RAM will work well.

Ryzen will perform way better in your usecase.

ryzen is the better choice but try to get a better board, that one will struggle to keep vrms happy (its going to get toasty) (more of a problem if you will overclock, but even on stock i wouldn't advise it)
