60Hz is unacceptably slow.

If you really wan't 4k wait a while for high refresh 4k to come out.

the only reason i want a 4k is because of the darker blacks. im tired of gaming or watching say silent hill and wondering whats really going on. the samsung qled says its good for the blacks but it is only 1440p which is 2k right. and yea im gaming on a hp zr2440w and its i think 60 or 70 hz so im used to the low refresh but wanted something higher to see the main difference even tho i dont play games that would really profit from it.

Being 4k has nothing to do with having darker blacks. That's a function of the panel type. For LCD VA < TN < IPS of good black levels. Or as you say get a qled or oled.

ok on a side note does lack of g-sync have anything to do with some monitors not working with nvidia cards. some reviews i see online for the ben q or the samsung says they flicker on and off or black screen. and some of those people say its cuz of g-sync not being supported. i wanted to know if they are having bad luck with the orders or they have a good point. as you guys can tell im new to monitors so i want to get a good one. a few i see that have been posted here seem nice just dont know the brands.
