Monitor for my friend

my friend is looking for a new monitor and he wants my help but im not very good at monitors so i need help picking one. he has a budget of 300£ and he wants 144hz for gaming, he has a AMD gpu so freesync would be nice, any advice?

The first one is 24inch 1440p 144hz, the second one is 27inch 1080p 144hz curved.

Get the first one if you can.

It has a DP 1.2 port. Anyways the benq is also a very good option, if you want to pay less than the budget. List it as the budget option to your friend
