We pay around 70/month for 200mbps download and 12 upload. These adapters give me about 25 mbps download.... any help on how to fix this

nooo sorry i meant 200 mbits and 25 mbits not MB

If the speed using the power-line adaptors is significantly lower than using Ethernet cables it is probably something to do with how the circuitry is wired in your house. Try changing what wall socket the adaptors are plugged into, try and make them closer to each other if you can.

Many times even if a power line adapter supports 500 Mbps its Ethernet port only support up to 100 Mbps. Most of this marketing is bull shit, just as much as WiFi speeds. Power line adapters were designed to work on one circuit. While they can cross circuit it will cause performance loss, as you discovered. People use power line adapters because generally they are more reliable when it comes to connectivity, but in some cases they are going to be slower than using a WiFi connection.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
