Nothing is wrong here. If you wish however to improve your airflow a bit and direct it into the heatsink more, I'd use a fan rated for radiators (I forgot the bearing type), but basically a fan with small gaps in between the frame, lower blade count, and just larger blades overall.
Fans like that have a more one-way direct flow and not cone-shaped.
