I live in the UK and iv done basic case modding so far to get a H100 to fit in to a Antec 1200.

I want to do powder coating and a few other things like windowing the side panel ext. does anyone know where i can get this done????

Well modding is always more interesting if you do it by yourself than if you go somewhere to get it done for you. :P That being said, there isn't a whole lot of PC specific services regarding modding. If you want to make a windowed panel you can always ask another modder or some company to do it for you but the best solution would probably be to make it by yourself with some acrylic and a couple of cutting tools. For parts and supplies, I've heard a lot of good things on various forums about KustomPCs and it probably looks like on of the best suppliers for PC modding products in the UK. For paint, you could always go ask your local car paint shop to paint it for you, that's what most people usually do when they don't do it by themselves. :) Hope this answer helps you and good luck modding! :D

KustomPC said then wont window a Cosmos 2 side pannel "its not flat" so it looks like i will have to do it my self... i have however had luck with getting replacement side pannels so if i do go wrong iv got that to fall back on to.

when it comes to painting i feel my skills with a spray can and artistic tallent from my work should be sufficient enough to do flat colouring... will just take elbow grease and patients for the prep work that comes before painting it

the biggest problem i have so far is with the window for the side pannel, i am considering getting the full windowed sidepannel from custom (£150) then cutting it to fit the window, then rather use rivets or bolts just set it up so the outer aluminium shell holds it against the inner plastic or something keep it clean looking and proffesional for the build

however this is all theory for now

Oh you have a Cosmos II like me! (forum thread: http://linustechtips.com/main/forum/the-workbench/case-modding-and-other-mods/168199-blu-my-first-ever-pc-modding-project?s=9c4c595b51262d5d0a7ebe009c589949) :P Yeah those panels were a pain to take apart only for paint. They're not flat and way over-engineered so I didn't risk windowing mine. The people over at MNPCTech make flat clear side panels for the Cosmos (I'm guessing that's the one they're selling at KustomPCs) if you want to save yourself time and effort but since the panels are angled, and are like half an inch thick, they require a ton of car body filler, acrylic bending skills and patience to window properly. Some people have done it: (http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/7523/img0430j.jpg) but it's very, very hard to make it look good. CoolerMaster said a while ago that they would release windowed panels for the CII but they never did. *übersadface* :(
