Windows on USB

Can you install windows on a USB Stick?
If you can, How?

do you mean like above; use the usb as a portable installer? or RUN windows on the usb stick?

Do you want a installer or a normal install? Normal install use windows 2 go, you can't really do a trully normal install.

I'll add on that if you want to use Windows to go, you'll need an Enterprise or Education version of Windows 8/8.1/10.

they do have this windows-to-go thumbdrive like device by ironkey. quite expensive. not sure if you can use a normal usb drive. i have one windows-to-go drive but i have ubuntu in it

You need special USB Drives which I don't happen to have.
And I Don't want to pay anything
