So I decided to build a high end pc that I was wanting for so long but this is my first time building one so is this build fine ? Also I need suggestions for some parts.

CPU: Intel core I7-7700K 4.2GHz

CPU Cooler: Need Suggestions
Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX H270F

Memory: Gskill Ripjaws V 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz
Storage: SeaGate Barracuda 1TB
Video Card: Gigabyte - GeForce GTX G1 Gaming 1080 8GB
Case: NZXT - S340 Elite (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair - RMx 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Case Fan: Need suggestions

If there is anything I missed please tell me and my goal with this build is just playing games ( not rendering, streaming etc. )

why would you go with kaby lake?  Go with coffie lake.  More cores more threads and current platform.  As for cooler, it all really depends on of your going to be overlcoking.  If no, then a good air cooler like a noctua, if overclocking you could still go with a air cooler but I would personally go with an all in one like a h100i from corsair.  As for fans I love my ml pros silent and really good preformance

Current Rig=  AMD Ryzen 9 5900x, Asus Crosshair Hero VIII, EVGA RTX 3070 FTW3 ultra, 32gb Corsair Vengence Pro RGB 3000hz White, EVGA 750 P2 PSU, 1TB Samsung 980 Pro, 500gb samsung 860 evo, 250GB Samsung 850 evo, 2TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus, 2TB seagate firecuda sshd,  LianLi PC 011 Dynamic XL ROG edition, Corsair h150i elite capelix

for now I have no intention of overclocking. So what would you suggest for a CPU ?

go with either the 8600k or 8700k depending on your needs.  If its just gaming, then save the money and go 8600k.  If you plan on doing some photo and or video editing or anything similar to that, then I would go with the 8700k

8600k is a very good suggestion thanks but will it be good for the next 3-4 years ? I plan on using this rig for quite a time. Also appricate your help a lot.

Don't get Kaby, get either Coffee or Ryzen. The 8400 should be fine with the stock cooler. If you want to spend a bit more, either the 8700 or 8700K. The 8700 with the stock cooler, and the 8700K should be fine with an H7 or H5 for basic overclocks.

Don't get an H Series motherboard. For Coffee, the only ones currently available are the Z series anyway. For the 8700K, something like the Prime A should be fine (exact recommendations vary by availability and price). For a locked chip, you're fine with whatever's cheapest.

Get an SSD. Around 250GB is fine, something like the SL308, MX300, MX500, 850 Evo or 860 Evo.

Gigabyte tends to cheap out on everything, if similar cards from Asus, EVGA or MSI are available, get one of those. If the Gigabyte card is cheaper, it's fine.

The S340 doesn't have very good airflow. Consider the Enthoo Pro M or Meshify C.

750W is way overkill. Just get a decent 450-650W PSU, and you're set for any GPU. Some quiet ones are the Straight Power 11, RMx, and Whisper M.

2 case fans are enough, very diminishing returns past that.

:)

An i5-8400 will do a decent job for the next few years. In fact its performance is roughly on par with a stock i7-7700K. If budget permits, I'd suggest the i7-8700. With six hyperthreaded cores it offers superior performance, especially in games that can more fully use the available cores.

By going with a locked cpu one can use the stock cooler. If budget permits, one might consider something like the Cryorig H7 instead. It would provide quieter and more efficient cooling.

A 240GB+ ssd is needed.

I would suggest a 550W or 650W psu. Something like a Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 550W or 650W will do a nice job.

The case comes with two stock fans. That should be sufficient for a non-overclocking rig.

PCPartPicker.com is a very useful tool for assembling builds. Custom parts and pricing can be entered. With the [bb] key one can copy and paste a nice list into posts.

Thank you all for your time and suggestions. I decided to go with a 650w psu, a 500gb ssd and an I7-8700.

I thought of doing that but I live in a different country so the pricings could be wrong for me. Thanks for the suggestion anyways.

One can enter custom prices for any part. Alternatively, one can simply zero out the pricing.
