Hello guys i am getting confused in choosing a card which are
 

Gigabyte R9 270X  or ASUS GTX 660

 

and is there any tiny possibility that amd will try something like shadow play...???

cause i will need it sometimes......

 

MY RIG IS 

ASUS A88XM-A MOBO

 

A10-6800k @4.1ghz

 

Kingston HyperX BLU 8GB RAM 1600Mhz

 

CORSAIR VS450

 

WD 1TB CAVIAR BLUE

 

budget is $150 to $200

There's no point getting the 270x over the 270.

Also, for some perspective:

660 < 7850 < 7870 < 270 < 270x

None of them with that APU, better off grabbing a low end card and saving money for a better platform.

There isnt a better platform unless he goes intel the fm2 is going to be amds future so he mazewell stick with it and hope amd comes out with an enthusiast chip for it which they most likely will.

 

Op there is not really any chance of amd doing shadow play but no one knows the future if u need shadow play go nvidia.

I have not seen any announcement from AMD to implement something like Shadowplay in their software. If you really need this I'd go with a GTX660. But the faster card is the R9 270 (you do not need the X version).

You don't need to go APU with the FM2 socket. The 750K/760K has no integrated graphics and overclocks like a dream. 

I have not seen any announcement from AMD to implement something like Shadowplay in their software. If you really need this I'd go with a GTX660. But the faster card is the R9 270 (you do not need the X version).

They have Experience - Predator that they're slowly implementing into their cards. The Msi R9 270 already has it and it's their version of shadowplay.
