Well, they were the ones to provide the exploits (or at least not fixing them)  in the first place so...i think they're just getting into the Apple business model of shit-talking their own old products so people buy the new ones in hopes they'll be flawless and BOOM! the cycle repeats.

Yeah but it needs root access. I can probably code such an app for you but again, it needs root.

 

Edit: Oh, didn’t see the article. Apps need your permission to access the camera in the first place. In android api 20+ or so, I believe user needs to grant access in the prompt.
